Karen, the lady of the house, is in fact a daddy long-legs, which Chas teases her about ceaselessly to his dumb-laughed delight.

A cleaner at the local school, Karen loves children and is a natural mother figure in the house.  Karen does hope to have a family of her own one day, but is in the unfortunate position of being in love with Karl the fly - a fact he detests.

Karen doesn't take this lightly however and takes her frustration out on the lads, which in turn makes Karl even less popular with Chas and Phil.
