Epsiode 7 - 'Knights'

Introduction by a maniacal potato.

Chas, Karl and Phil are all eating hamburgers and drinking beer in the living room.  Karen comes in and chastises them for eating so unhealthily.  In response Karl vomits onto his burger and sucks it up through his proboscis.  He goes to high-five Chas, but Chas and Phil are pointedly ignoring him.

Karen goes to get herself some Tofu from the fridge.  While there she hears noises coming from the boy's vegetable drawer.  She opens it to discover that the vegetables have been left so long they've actually established their own feudal society, where they are ruled over by the ruthless potato, King Edward.

Karen rushes into the living room to tell the boys, but they ignore her, telling her that too many carrots have sent her mad.

Meanwhile, on the orders of King Edward, the vegetables take over the kitchen.

Phil goes to turn on the TV but the remote's broken.  He sends Karl to go and get some batteries; he seems to remember the mad professor that used to live in the basement left some behind.

Karl discovers Medieval England in the cellar.  Random midget peasants and barons attack him with tiny arrows and he is forced to retreat.  He runs back to tell Chas and Phil but they claim British Beef has made him mad.

Karl says that they can burn for all he cares but he's going to defend himself.  He goes and makes a fort in his bedroom.

In the kitchen King Edward has discovered that a rival kingdom has taken over the living room.  He views them as a definite threat so gathers his vegetable armies.

Karen goes downstairs to discover the two armies at war.  She runs away and hides in Karl's fort.

Karl decides to call pest control.  The pest control man shows up in shining knight's armour, with a lance.

The pest control man insists on riding Karl into battle.  They are beaten back by the combined forces of vegetable and midget medieval knight.

King Edward and the chief Baron of midge Medieval England decide to join forces against their common enemy.  Karl, Karen and the pest control man are all laid to siege in Karl's fort.

On the fourteenth day of the siege water is running out and Karl is talking with the pest control man about eating Karen.  Karen declares this is madness and that their must be another way.  The pest control man thinks about it and thinks that if they take out one side of the army then maybe they can take the other half in direct combat.  As the natural enemy of vegetables is over-cooking, then they begin to boil water.

The boiling water attack is brutal.  The vegetables are decimated.  In a desperate final attack, King Edward straps himself with brussel sprouts and forces himself down the pest control man's throat.  In his dying moments the pest control man asks Karl to tell his children that he loved them.

Desperate and alone Karl and Karen make a final stand.  Because the tallest knight is only 6 inches tall, they can tread on them all, and kill them that way.  It takes about five seconds.  Karl says he was surprised how easy that was.  Karen asks if they should go and rescue Phil and Chas.

Karl shakes his head.
